New York City >>> Projektleiter/Inn mit 12+ Jahren Erfahrug für Einsatz in New York City
REXan international architecture and design firm based in New York Cityis expanding to accommodate a wide range of projects in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. REX seeks exceptional Project Leaders for employment in a demanding and collaborative office environment. Project Leaders will work closely with REXs Principal and must have prior experience leading design teams on high-profile projects. This position is based in New York City.
Applicants must have:
· Fluency in spoken and written English and German
· Strong knowledge of German standards and construction industry including experience with all phases of project development and delivery in Germany
· A license in architecture; LEED accreditation preferred
· Proven professional work experience (12+ years) in all phases of project design, documentation, and construction administration
· Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience leading design teams on complex projects with construction budgets of at least $50M; cultural and/or contemporary residential project background is required
· Extraordinary design ability, documented through conceptual models, schematic diagrams, and complete architectural drawing sets
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients, other architects, consultants, and contractors, and experience coordinating such teams
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Strong knowledge of architectural practice and construction, and extensive experience with construction detailing and the ability to create a comprehensive and coordinated construction document set, monitoring project costs, and value engineering
· Knowledge of building codes, standards, and ADA requirements; familiarity with NYC building codes a plus
· Excellent in MS Office and Microsoft Project, and comfortable in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite; Revit desirable
· An entrepreneurial, confident, and hands-on attitude
· Position based in New York City with frequent travel to Germany
